Hi! Good discussion! @pearl_chetna
I have a lot of favorite festivals so that's I won't say for only for a particular one.. the upcoming two festivals are Raksha Bandhan (On August 3 & after that my b'day comes!! 😉☺️)( in this festival the sister ties an ornamental wrist band to his brother for his long life) the second one is Janmashtmi (On August 12) (on this festival we celebrate the birth of lord Krishna). My other two favorite festivals are Holi (the festival of colors) & the other one is Diwali(On this day festival we light are homes with candles & diyas, worship our lords for good health, wealth, peace and prosperity. This is a 5 day long festival but some only celebrate it for 3 days based on their belief or tradition because India is with a diversity of traditions, customs and many more things!). Now I'm finished with my writing! 😄😅
And at last as I always thank @Diamond Lim for tagging so once again thanks! 😊

The festival "I am Iraqi .. I read" is one of the largest festivals that urge reading and interest in Iraq. The festival was held in Baghdad in its sixth season, and in the city of Mosul, with its first season, and this year was marked by the distribution of tens of thousands of books in various specialties and fields. The phenomenon of cultural festivals has recently begun to increase in Iraqi society, and reading has become something like a habit, and these efforts may bear fruit years later by turning reading into a societal culture that is reflected in public behavior.
Festivals supporting reading and culture help to ripen awareness in Iraqi society, of course. Researcher Jassim Al-Sidr says that "reading is an interactive mental activity that takes place between a passionate recipient and a writer who poured out the summary of his intellectual nurture embodied in letters, words and sentences called a book. Reading gives us the ability to see What is around us is radically different from what we used to know or as others see it. "
Al-Sidr said: "Iraqi thinkers, philosophers, writers, poets, and others, flirted each way with his beloved writers, describing the thrill of reading and the joy of pleasure and intellectual euphoria that gives their souls a supreme kindness and their minds expansion and capacity so that a pen or statement cannot describe the depth of its effect on effectiveness, giving and participation."
