My dear friend, I only just now saw what you said about an earthquake. They are not fun to go through, we had one here, which is extremely rare in 2011. I still remember being in bed waking up to my bed thumping against the floor. I jumped out of bed and still being half asleep I stood there with the floor shaking under my feet and hearing things dropping around me, I was expecting to hear that there had been an explosion. Then it was over, it was probably the scariest 15 seconds I've ever experienced
So glad you are ok and no one was hurt. I wouldn't be able to sleep either expecting another one or aftershocks. You are in my prayers and thoughts and I hope by now you and family/friends, can finally relax and get some well-deserved rest. Let us know how you are when you can.
