Rainbow rapids - Why do they collect rainbow candies even though there were green hue?

Once the rainbow stream meet the rapids, something happened. It forms a rainbow candy and then once the rainbow candy enlarges and shrinks, there were green hue in the rainbow candy. We can't see the red color of it. NOTE: I uploaded a GIF, but it doesn't work.

Yeah, the red seems to disappear a bit.
But at least 2 months ago there wasn't any shade of red according to a youtube tutorial
Just plain green π this made me try capturing the effect on my own app

This is what it looks like when you collect the rainbow candy. After the rainbow candy turns normal, it enlarges and the green hue changed the colors of the rainbow, and we can't see the red color of the rainbow candy.
