Hello,
My dad is not able to play Candy Crush Saga or Candy Crush Soda saga because he keeps getting an error that "User opted out of platform. The action attempted is disallowed, because the user has opted out of Facebook platform."
He does not play on his phone or any other location aside from his laptop. Can you please explain how I can get him back to the level he was at? He had beaten over 2000 levels and is pretty bummed about not being able to play at all.

Follow these steps and the problem will be solved!
1. Click on “Settings” in the top right-hand corner of your FB page
2. Click on “Your Facebook information”
3. Click on “Off-Facebook activity”
4. Click on “More options”
5. Click on “Manage future activity”
6. Make sure “Future off-FB activity” is turned on.

This happens because of a Facebook setting. Do you recently change something? You cannot play Candy Crush with these settings turned off.

This has to do with the Facebook settings that has got changed to block the game.
Please try the steps that @Mary_Kay and @aijaziqbal posted. If you need any further help, please contact Facebook directly and ask them to reset the settings.
