Hello CC fam,
I haven’t posted here in a long long time (did not even remember my password), but I HAD to make a comment on the following:
Has anyone noticed something “strange” (in a good way) in terms of the Chocolate Box (CB) mini game? 🤔 (especially people on iOS mobile, although possibly other mobile platforms as well, and maybe computers too).
You know how in the past (at least up until Thursday September the 3rd), you were only able to complete the CB once very 24 hours? You would complete the 3 candy assignments and when trying to complete the 4th assignment, it would say (paraphrasing) that you have to wait X amount of hours to do this (it would be sometime overnight, on the next day).
As a reminder, when you complete the CB, you receive a color bomb, a striped/wrapped candy and a lollipop hammer.
Well, has anyone noticed the “change?” Or am I the only one lucky enough to have noticed this possible glitch? 🤔
Well, there’s now no time limit in terms of completing the CB (at least for me). Meaning, that if you know where to go to complete the CB, which can be done repeatedly by playing level 2000 (although every now and then, you may have to go to another level to complete one of the candy assignments) - you can complete this every 15 minutes or so, or 4 times per hour.
If true, then it's a glitch for you only (or whoever else it may affect). I still get the You have reached the daily limit message on the Win 10 app.
Why in the world would you post about it though. 🤦 I'd keep "exploits" like that to myself. Now that you've alerted King, they're going to "fix" it. Way to go. 🙄
I hear you, but I don’t necessarily agree.
There have been other exploits that were known literally for years and it took years (if ever) to even fix those (people either posted about it here or made videos on YouTube). I could give examples, but I’m sure you’re probably familiar with some.
Anyway, I’m just trying to help out other CCers, that may not be aware of this (like I said, this is probably an iOS (Apple) thing, if it’s not just affecting me).

Now that the cat's out of the bag, this "glitch" was around a while back too - yep, I experienced it on the Win 10 app. It didn't last very long (a day? a few days? don't remember), so whatever it is, King must've been tinkering with something and was aware of it.
Maybe it's a sign they're tinkering with the Chocolate Box again. Enjoy it while it lasts. 😎
YESSSSS!!!! It started on the 4th for me. The first day I played through like 8 or 9 times then got tired of it. I usually play level 1055, which seems to be the best level for completing most of the Chocolate Box quests, so I haven't even been playing my current level which is 3364. So basically I have not been progressing. I think going forward, I will just complete the Chocolate Box once or twice a day and then try to pay more attention to my actual current level.
Mine has vanished since the past 4/5 days and others have noted the same too.
Maybe they have removed it due to trying to fix the glitch. Although mine was 24hrs.
Play your current levels and keep collecting the boosters available, if bored playing past ones. Enjoy!
