I managed to get thru the level by just using the striped candies and not touching any of the candies in the cross. Painful experience, but got there in the end. ….

It's still an issue! Just cleaned all board and was missing 2 bombs! It's like impossible to do it without a booster which is so unfair!!

It isn't an error. If you change any if the bombs by using color burst or saucer, they aren't bombs when they go away. It lowers the total number of bombs.
