If I have 4 lives and get 5 lives from some level I triggered, what shows up is 5 lives. How come it will not show 9 lives?

Hi and welcome to the community.

The maximum limit is by default in the game is 5 lives. Your feedback has come to us which we will send to our CM but you are right if you get a reward and you already have lives it is not adding up.

The only way at the moment you get 6 lives when you earn diamond trophy in any episode then for the next episode your lives capacity increases from 5 to 6.

When you win 5 Lives, it means that the Lives will reload up to full 5 again.

If you already have full 5 Lives, then there won't be any change in the game since 5 Lives is the maximum.Since you already have 4 lives, your lives are full by adding one.

@eric_stewart1 Hi and welcome, You should only accept the amount of lives that you can go up to maximum. You cannot get any more than the maximum permitted at that time which is normally 5 lives or if you have master trophy bonus 6 lives.

There are different test features where you can get more lives as standard but i am yet to get the feature but have seen people with standard 8 lives

That was probably the Master trophy event which as one of the rewards offers 1 extra life for the next episode if you gain a gold or diamond trophy
