Guide to Levels that Require Non-Spawning Candy Color Orders

Options

If you have not completed level 408, be prepared for a type of order level that requires a significant amount of skill. Even after the completion of that level, you may not have noticed that the order (8 yellow candies) do not spawn. Level 408, for instance, has only 5 colors spawning. You are asked to collect only some of the candy already on the board.

These levels can be hard, especially ones with chocolate (such as 971). Level 408 is an easier version. But starting in level 971, you are asked to collect yellow candies via lucky candies. You need to open lucky candies, which are in licorice locks. If more than one of the lucky candies or yellow candies are eaten by chocolate, it's a fail. It is the first level that you can fail not because of the fact that there are no moves left, an exploding bomb, or no more possible matches.

Yellow candies as orders in five-colored levels are quite common, more rare is a four-colored level that asks you to collect non-spawning red candies. The first such level is 1072. There are also levels that ask you to collect 2 types of non-spawning candies, usually both red and yellow.

When you open lucky candies, and the orders appear, try making special candies so you won't need to use more lucky candies. An exception is a color bomb, which will not help.
