Black screen several times a day freezing the game for hours

The problem has been happening for a couple of weeks now. I begin playing a level, but then, if in the middle of the level I leave my phone for a few minutes, when i come back it s just a black screen and it stays that way for a few hours. Restarting the phone fixes it but i cant keep turning my phone off several times a day just to play the game. The game is up to date and so is my ios. Anyone else has this problem?

@candy_mouse Hi and welcome, I play via iPhone on the app and have not experienced this issue , but if i ever get an issue i also do the standard troubleshooting tips and even though its the app i also clear the cache in safari and this normally rectifies any issues i have. I am not sure on this but as you cannot clear the cache of the game i think it may be stored in safari as have had quite a few people with log in issues and when they clear the cache from safari they normally get rectified, and there can be no harm in trying this

This issue is still under investigation, but no error is found yet.

Meanwhile, please play on different supported browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Edge)as it seems mostly happen in Google Chrome.

If you're playing on a Windows PC, you can also download the game as an app from Microsoft Store HERE and play via the Windows app instead.

Please also note that Microsoft no longer supports their old systems Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7. Therefore we recommend to play on Windows 10 to guarantee that the game works.

I play the game through the app, not the browser. The issue started a few weeks ago. Before it was just a black screen during a faulty ad once in a while...but now it s when i play the game but then let the phone go idle for a few minutes.

I have read the possible solutions before. Like i said, they work to solve the immediate black screen but they dont prevent future freezes. Since it s been happening very often lately (twice daily) I cannot keep going through the steps of restarting my phone, clearing cache and so on twice a day. It s an actual bug that was introduced recently. I ve been playing for a long time and this issue just started about two weeks ago
