Understood that you need to keep restarting your game each time you stop playing or runs out of moves.
Besides the link shared above by Mr Aijaziqbal, you may want to check whether the app needs to be updated or your device have sufficient memory to run/operate. After that, please carry out the necessary remedial actions.
You may also disconnect your game from the internet and wait for several seconds before re-connecting it back to the internet and see if it helps.

Same here when I play on Win10 app. Almost 10 weeks with this issue
@Flor_Mckernan Hi, as the win 10 app version is synced to king servers, check for any updates to your device and in Microsoft store for your game and then restart your device to see if this improves your situation. If not would probably try to reinstall the app as its fully synced to king servers.
Have had no issues with my win 10 game on latest version and all updates done
