no like. i'm only getting 45 levels a week. somebody named player won every event with way more than I can gat. just now a player got over 100 in less than 15 mins. something don't smell right as every week a non named player got a huge amount. hope I've seen the last of these

It is not a dumb question that is for sure. My guess is that each of us are assigned a random group of players against which our performance per level is measured. That is, none of us are assessed against the whole of the population that plays Candy Crush Saga.

This is similar to the Episode Race in which your performance is measured against five random people.

I imagine that the reason for this is that due to the huge number of people that play CCS if we were all measured against the whole player base all of the time then there would be a lot of unhappy players as some people pay a lot of money whilst playing and others do not. Therefore this would lead to a percentage of the game playing population being difficult to beat.

I would suggest if you want a definitive answer to your question that you post it as its own discussion and tag people like pounawea and kiara_wael in it.
