level 688
I am on level 688. 18 moves. The bombs say 5 minutes but approximately 1 minutes. Having to get to them is nearly impossible and also extremely frustrating. I have tried and tried. Any help welcome !! I wish we could pass over trouble levels and have to go back before moving on!!! Thank you!!!

@crafty319 Hi and welcome, The numbers on the bombs are the amount of moves left before they go off. So if it has a 5 on it it will go off in 5 moves and end the game if you have not got rid of it

level 688 is categorized as a nightmairisly hard level, so it will probably take you a lot of tries if you are trying to pass it without the use of boosters. The numbers on the bombs indicate the number of moves you have until the bomb goes off.
For this level I recomend focusing on the cake bomb in the middle because it clears the entire field, including bombs. Just have in mind you'll have 9 moves to do so.

Level 688
For this level you should try to play near to cake to break them or make colorbomb or wrapped candy and combine them with striped candy to break the time bomb. Use more special candy combo trick to break the jellies to reach the requirement.

Try to focus on the cake in the middle. This should be destroyed as soon as possible, in 5 moves.

The number on the Candy Bombs are not minutes. They are the number of moves. So if it says 5, you will need to crush it within 5 moves so it won't explode.

The 50 moves version (when I play this level) I always fail because candy bomb explode

Level 688
- Clear the cake bomb quickly.
- If you are playing on mobile and find out that you cannot remove at least one cake slice on your first move, you can reset the board without losing a life, provided that you have not made your first move.
- This action is impossible nowadays, and quitting without making a move does take a life now. Because of this, this level is made even harder.
- Otherwise, you must make the board shuffle. There is a good chance for that due to the very bad design of the level.
- If you are playing on mobile and find out that you cannot remove at least one cake slice on your first move, you can reset the board without losing a life, provided that you have not made your first move.
- Once the cake bomb is gone, create special candies or their respective combinations to clear the isolated jellies. Color bombs are helpful in this one.
