Won a level, using a booster, yet still have to play it

Hi, so this has happend a few times, today i got through lvl 3789 using the hand swap booster, but when I opened the app again later, I'm still on that level and the booster is gone. What's up with that?!

It happens sometimes if game is interrupted abruptly or due to other reason .
