Level 4175
I’m not getting anywhere close to beating this level. When I watch walkthrough videos, they show special candies dropping into the game. When I play, no special candies drop into the game. Only special candies are those I make. Reading comments on about this level, many others have this same issue through many years. That sounds like a known issue but what will fix it?

Hey, welcome. The current version doesn't have special candy cannons.
You must create more striped and wrapped candy to handle this level.
wrapped + wrapped is the best option for me.

Level 4175 . need be patience to get a lucky board
For this level try to play near to grill or other blockers and make special candy. Combine them with each other or play near to grill to break them all.

@flitrfly Hi and welcome, The video you have seen is the original version which is no longer available as the level has been amended. Video below will give you some hints and tips on completing the level, but this is a super hard level and can take a few attempts and requires a lucky board. You will need to make and combine as many special candies as possible

The waffles drop into the middle part of the board but they are often surrounded by licorice and hard to get to. Working mostly on one side meant that the licorice on that side was cleared and the waffles fell down to fill in the spaces and they were then easier to clear from the side.
Wrapped candies will clear the licorice best and if you can switch two wraps together they will also clear some of the waffles. A double color bomb will help too, but it's hard to make. A color bomb/wrap combo is a good way to clear the licorice too and once the waffles drop to the bottom they are a lot easier to clear.
