Can you make giving lives easier?

I have read and searched both online and in the app itself (iPhone) on how to give lives to ALL my Facebook friends. I know to go into a level and if that friend happens to have played and won that level you just hit the heart and there it goes. But what about friends that have not advanced far? I am on level 3233 and I have friends who are at higher levels but I have many who are WAY WAY below. The only way to send lives to them (if they don't ask - but why should they have to?) is to manually scroll all the way down to a level they have successfully played (but first you have to go into "Leaderboards" and find their current level - a cumbersome enough process) and then go into it and then click on the hearts. There is a button "Ask for lives" within easy reach. Why is giving lives so difficult? It's almost as if King is trying to discourage it. Can you make it easier? Perhaps add a "Give Lives" button just below "Ask for Lives"?
