Hi there! When the level was changed down from 40 moves the first time we also changed the level itself, not just the moves. 9073 is supposed to be a hard level, and through the weekend this level had 22 moves, but according to the data it's too easy to be a hard level. That's why the moves earlier today were reduced down to 21. You can't only look at moves, since the levels change in other ways as well, for example when it comes to layers of blockers and spawnrates of special candies and other things that come out of candy cannons and magic mixers. 9073 has actually had a change to the actual board layout itself since release, which isn't super common. It isn't impossible, I believe in you! ✨

Actually that does not help at all. For me to get to over 9000 levels I must have skill. But these past 6 months have had horrible, virtually unplayable levels. This is no longer a game for fun. I guess I had just better find something healthier to do like work out or go for a hike. I have played since CC inception and used to love it. Now, nope

We all struggle with different levels, but just this exact level was earlier today at the same level as our other medium levels, so we removed one move to make it harder. Maybe you have an easier time with some levels other's struggle with? I look forward to your feedback. What did you change about the level when you went down from 40 moves? For me it looks identical to the YouTube videos from two weeks back, except for the number of moves.
Also, it’s not categorized as a difficult level in my game. Has the same pink colour as your average board.

We changed the layout of the board slightly, making the bottom tiles easier to access. When the board changed we also changed the spawnrate of special candy to spawn in more, and a small decrease to the licorice spawning in. After this change the level was actually very easy, and has since then had moves removed a bit at the time to get to the current state, and right now this level is on target. But it should be marked as a hard level.
