I was competing with family and friends and suddenly its a bunch of strangers...how do I change that

Hello and welcome, if you have lost your friends and they have been replaced by lots of unknown people, it may be your account may have become disconnected from facebook. Try logging out and restarting your device and then log back in with your facebook account details and see if this resolves your issue.
