No Daily Treat Calendar on Candy Crush Saga

I am still without the Daily Treat Calendar, even though I play this game every day and have done so for quite some time.
It has been suggested that I update the app, but I am not sure how to do this and as I have reached level 1321 I dont want to lose my progress.
Can anyone help please?
