Is there a problem with the sugar stars that shows up when you’re playing a level?

The sugar star blob that shows up at the top of the screen while you’re playing a level doesn’t go away anymore and it is covering some of the board so you can’t see all the pieces. I think it just started doing this after last weeks update. Is there a way to fix this?
