Kindle fire...HELP !

Candy crush has failed on my kindle fire HD for weeks, unable to load. Tried to reinstall app today and now it looks as if it is not available for my kindle. What on earth is going wrong with this? . I am really fed up and disappointed. Cannot get any answers and obviously am not alone in this issue. PLEASE HELP

    Please try this step for Kindle device

    Our games are in continuous evolution and each new update including additional content and features mean that lots of new code is written by our developers which might include some bugs. We test all our updates thoroughly to remove any possible bugs, but it might happen that a sneaky bug slips through to the game.

    Worry not! While technical issues are very frustrating, the great news is that they are also generally quite easily fixed. The first thing we need to do is make sure that your device is running as smoothly as possible. 

    Here are a few steps that can improve your gaming experience:

    a. Please close all apps and restart the device

    b. Please check for any updates for your device and apps in the Amazon Appstore. 

    c. Clear the cache frequently using this sequence: Menu => Choose Settings => Scroll down to and tap on Clear All Cookie Data.

    d. As a last resort, try re-installing the game as it usually fixes most issues. Please be sure to back up your game progress on either Facebook or the Kingdom. Just make sure that the last level you played was while you were connected to your account before you reinstall the game.

    Please also note that any boosters or extra lives stored in the game may also be lost during this process.

    I have done all these fixes numerous times. Having tried to reinstall the app it appears to not even feature on the app store so whole thing is now impossible! !!

    @Eleanor56 Hi and welcome,

    Not sure why this is not on the kindle app store any more, but will tag the CM to see if he may be able to find any information on why the app is not on the kindle amazon store

    Hi @Eleanor56 I believe you need to download Candy Crush directly from the Amazon Store

    I have gone onto Amazon app store. It states that I own the app. I have it on my android phone as well. However it now states it is not compatible with my kindle fire HD so can't download it onto that. It was running fine until the latest update.

    If it states that you own the app try these steps

    Go to Settings/Apps & Games/Manage All Applications and then see if you can find the CCS app. Then, tap Force stop and Clear cache.

    Thank for your reply. I had already tried this to no avail. I no longer have cc app on kindle as I was trying to reinstall it. Not on cloud either.

    Hi @Eleanor56 someone else has also reported your error, so it is more than likely your issue is being caused by Amazon. If that is the case then hopefully your issue will be resolved sooner rather than later.

    It is now August and despite numerous communications about this I still have a problem loading CCS. I get the message of being unable to connect to App store.

    Getting very fed up now. Has anyone else had these difficulties?

    Hi @Eleanor56 a Google search of this issue indicates that this issue is known of by Amazon, but a fix has yet to be identified. It also seems that Amazon want people effected by this issue to contact their Tech Team, so that they can pull logs.
