The old version was considered much easier than the current one. The frosting blocker and striped cannons are getting overused for no reason. Complete redesigns are disgusting. Without extreme luck the player will have to waste tons of lives. After being completely redesigned on 11 June, it was made harder thrice!

The question is: Why was this level completely redesigned?

They are tweaking and updating many levels at the moment. Some levels to harder and other to more easier. Therefore the versions can be different on different devices until all platforms are updated.

They are going through many levels where players intend to get stuck on or pass way too fast.

The video shows the old version. I don't mean the old version. The current version has a different layout and 27 moves.

It's is a fair question @HughLaurie1959 and I think you have probably answered your own question with the first part of your post. As Kiara says the levels are monitored and if the player data shows that a level is too easy, then it gets altered to make it less easy. If your level has been changed three times I would guess that means they have struggled to get the balance right.

Ultimately no one on here can answer your question as only King know the real reason. As I am sure you are aware it is unlikely they will turn up here to answer your question.
