Surely @Boybinary the significance is obvious. The significance of the high score for a lot of people is what it represents. People play the game for a variety of reasons, but I guess a lot of people play to 'win'. Having the highest score in your group is a sure sign of being a winner.
I thought the cascades that occur at the end of a level were part of the game. Are they not?
No they are definitely a glitch, that's why I could never understand why anyone would be proud of it, it would kind of be like celebrating a point when the other person double faults! you had nothing to do with it but waiting out the malfunction.
To clarify, I am just referring to the glitches not the games that don't malfunction with that said you cannot get scores that high unless it does! the true high scores would be much lower.
Cheers @Boybinary.
Is there any way of telling the difference between a malfunctioning level and a normal cascade? That is, is there a cut off in a score that is a give away?
How about this. Whilst no one celebrates winning a point when their opponent double faults, they do celebrate winning the match even if it includes a point earned from a double fault.
So it seems to me that as the 'glitches' have been going on for so long they can be considered as part of the game. You can only get the cascade (faulty or not) by completing the level, so it is okay to celebrate winning the match regardless of the 'double fault'.
Hi @Alienscar @UncleJoe4 @borntodrive @CassD @Spieler_8675309 @me6412 @Kezabelle3 @candycrushinit @Diamond Lim @LoveDachs @carmenechevarria @hechicerilla @maryjane117 @santo_chris97 @Moh1977 @Boybinary @MollyS @Yosca @Nix66,
I will briefly answer the discussion between @Alienscar & @Boybinary above:
Game Multipliers / The Cascading Effect, called by the players are not *Glitches. They were put into the game by the Programmers / Designers. Programming or Design, requires intelligence.
In formal Cause & Effect Law:
There is no *Effect Quantitative or Qualitative greater than its *Cause. Not only that, but you must have a *Primary or Adequate Cause.
The fact you were involved in the game, by making moves, does involve you, you may not like the results, but nevertheless, you got an *Effect from it. You act in the *Cause & Effect Universe, of course standing in front of a speeding car, will result in another *Effect on you, one made by man. I try to avoid being prideful, only leads to more fallenness of man.
Time will not permit me to go into more. In a heat alert here.
