Hi @Bennihanna I guess the pay off for the chance of winning 10 (or 20) gold bars is that the tasks have been made more difficult. I agree with you that the choice of task that requires that you use something more valuable than the prize is nonsensical, and has spoilt the Chocolate Box experience for me.
What I (and I suspect everyone else) do is when it gets to the Gold Box is make sure you start the two days with the complete level task. If you can complete the four (or six) levels before the two days are up then you stand more chance of completing the other collection style tasks.

i agree, i pretty much have given up winning the deluxe one. Impossible to achieve.....
