Sam streak is challenging but i have been winning lately

Sounds to me like your running a Sham Contest and not paying out a reward to the winner's so, in fact, you are lying and denying the player's of the game their just dessert's LOL I would think that now would be the time to get yer head out of your proverbial butt's and reimburse all winner's that have a circle spinning on their screen's and get rid of a contest that truly has no winner. I currently have a spinning disc that is not rewarding my prize should I just keep waiting.....

Not really worth you waiting as the spinning disc is just one of the results of the problem, The other result is that you (and everyone else) will not receive anything from the event after you see the spinning disc.

So after the no connecting issue the icon disappeared all together. From what I’ve read above am I too going to loose out on my rewards that I worked so hard to get?

Same! I missed out on rewards twice because of the connection issue. I guess I'll never get them 😔
