You don't get 'em instantly with this thing (King are silly like that), it takes a few minutes; but check your GB balance, they should have been added by now...

You won't get them until the other goodies time out, they don't want to give you to much of an advantage!!!

I got the delux box a few times but it became harder to get (use 4 UFOs or other boosters that I didn't have unfortunately)

I always have to close my game and restart it to get the gold bars. It is a bit of a trade off. Closing and restarting your game wastes some of the timed booster, but at least you get the gold sooner.
