Choose own sweet crew or have option to leave sweet crew and shuffle for a new one

I wouldn't mind being able to add some of my Fantastic Five team into my Sweet Crew instead of the automatically assigned players.
Other than that though I play on Android, so I am not able to add friends. How do you see being able to choose your own Sweet Crew working?
The shuffle might work, but the event is only four days long how long would you wait until you shuffled? If you shuffled would you have to start your target of fifty levels again? Even if you took your part of the fifty levels with you when you shuffled you would probably be moved to a team of new players, so you would then have less time to complete your fifty levels.
