Texas Chainsaw Massacre has to be my number one for scare as it was based on a true story. I mean the original one, not the remake. Creeped me out and still does to this day. The Friday the 13th and Alien franchises are my also in my top 5.

BTW Love Silence of the Lambs too, and it had it's moments but didn't scare me all that much...it was more classy well done scare, rather than scare. 😉
Thanks @Diamond Lim 💎💙😁
😰it's quite horrifying
This one, loosely based on actual events, really scared me!
I am not a fan of the genre, although there are a handful that look good (Us, for example), but I’d still rather avoid them.
A Halloween movie tradition amongst my friends, back in HS senior year and college, was to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show - actually, for a year or so, we saw it almost every weekend, doing all the “audience participation” stuff! 🤪. I could even dance the “Time Warp” on my one leg, without my crutches (“bring your knees in tight” was the trickiest move). It’s a musical comedy/parody but the word “horror” is in the title, maybe that counts?
Also, not sure if it counts as horror (not sure it fits any genre), but Donnie Darko would be a fav! Freaky movie, that.
The conjuring 1,2 and 3
@Crazy Cat Lad I love horror movies. My favorite is Texas chainsaw massacre.
Thanks for tag @Diamond Lim
Jeepers creepers or boogeyman can think of the darn name at this moment.🎃
My favorite horror movie at the moment is the movie “IT” written by Stephen King and he’s also my favorite author too. 💕😱👻
Then I have to give a honorable mention to “The Exorcist”.
Thanks for the tag @Diamond Lim 💕

I feel like I would need a reaction button like this on this thread:
Hi darling! I've just looked at your trailer. Yes, I understood everything, English and Spanish.🤣😉
Yes, excitement is guaranteed. When it hits the cinemas, it doesn't take long to get on TV. Question: What do you think of horror films in 3D: That's a lot better, isn't it?😉
