Something similar happened to me, but I don't know if it was a game fault, or my fault for signing into the game too late. I had completed three tasks, so as per usual the game said I had reached my daily limit. I thought this meant that I had twenty four hours left to complete my last task, but when I logged back in the next day the Deluxe Box had been replaced with the standard one.
I am just trying again to see if it happens again. I left my Box saying that I had to wait eleven hours before I could complete my last task.
