Please do the standard trouble shooting by log out, update your game application, restart your device and login, if playing through browser please clear cache/ history. And login again.
At the moment there are some server related issues with the chocolate box and work is underway to resolve the issue. and Investigated.

@RAW13 Daily I play on Facebook on my Laptop (it is easy for me to collect candy for events, or for Chocolate Box). This mornind and others day too on the evens I saw first a red curtain. I play an old level(I do 5676) and after that the curtain dissapear and I saw the events. Sometimes I need to play this level when new events are out.
Hi RAW13, just keep playing and your Events should come back to you. This same thing happens when you sign in and out of your game.
When you sign out of your game and restart your device your Events are normally missing. All you have to do is play a couple of levels and any Event you should have will return.
You can't remove a feature like the Deluxe Chocolate Box from your game yourself.
