Where did all my friends/lives help go?

In the past week all my friends/lives disappeared, just like so many things disappear in this game. I had over 400 lives/friends help and they were just gone one day. What is with this game? It's pretty lousy to keep losing people's data and then not fix it! This has happened before when I had about 900 lives/friends help. It takes a lot of time to build up that many lives and then it's all gone one day without anything I've done on my part!

I play on Facebook and I have lives from day to day for weeks and weeks and sometimes months. But they are temporary? Really, that's the best King could do? I have made none of the changes that would explain the loss of the lives. I think King doesn't wish to have any responsibility for their lack of competence in data storage.
To be clear, I have not updated Facebook since it is on my laptop and there is no way to do that/nor do I know how.
I haven't changed my profile picture since this is just a game account.
I haven't reinstalled Facebook as it is a web app.
I do restart my computer every day and imagine this, about 95% of the time I still have the same data from the last time I played except every once in a while King loses it. King takes no responsibility for this because they don't actually care. If I had paid for this, which I would never ever do, due to their crummy attitude of claiming it's not something they can do anything about, I would be pretty angry and justifiably so.
I don't even know how to update my game.
So the loss of the data isn't their fault. Whatever. Glad I don't pay to play, because that would certainly be the end of that.
