Too Hard to be fun

I left playing CC for 3 years due to having hand surgeries.
I'm back and most of my player friends are gone. Many stopped playing because the levels have become too hard unless you buy boosters.
I'm finding this to be true. Has CC lost its popularity due to its difficulty?

No, I'm in the 3100 level. Most of my friends quit. The main complaint is the difficulty, lack of lives.
When stopped playing I had over 200 lives saved up. Now I can't play more than 10 minutes and I'm out of lives. I've been adding CC friends and request lives. I'm lucky if if I get 3 or 5.lives..
I'm pretty close to Uninstalling it.

Its a Too fun game.

@Vnsfrk Last 3 years in CCS was really long time, many changes many new feature. If you play thru Facebook you need to find friends that play and send lives a few time per day. In my opinion lives are not the problem of the game.
