Why do I not get the prizes from the Cup cake tree

Every second time I play I lose my prizes. I am also not getting prizes from other places either. Tired of buying things to advance when if I had the prizes I could keep playing. without having to spend money. Also why don't my original Facebook friends show as my friends - have no idea who these random people I have now are. I enjoyed playing with my own personal friends. And why do we get rewards that we can't use in the level we are playing in.
