Game keeps shutting down

I'm playing on mobile android and the app keeps shutting down mid game making it impossible to progress. I have cleared the cache, logged out and restarted phone and logged back in. Ive checked nothing else running in background.
Nothing has helped. I'm not sure if this started after the recent android security update. Any ideas please this is so frustrating.
