Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
Hello Pam, do you play through Facebook? If you do the issue of spinning/missing avatars is a very old issue that is supposedly being looked at. In my experience the issue has got nothing to do with internet issues, or your game connection as the game plays just fine with the blank avatar. In my case the issue resolved itself after a couple of days. Just make sure that your app is up to date and keep your cache/browser history cleared.
