Same here! Made the first purchase in 10 years and ads disappeared. I thought they wanted to make $$. Maybe I was wrong. King is all about charity and humanitarian compassionate. If ads don’t come back again, I’ll be my final goodbye to Candy Crush. It has become so stressful to play this game any way. It’s time to live a real life.
Sadly I made a purchase of $.99 about a month ago & ever since then all of my ads have disappeared. I wasn't sure at first if this was the reason, but after seeing the comments here it clearly wasn't just a coincidence. Pretty unfriendly way to get people to spend $ in the app. Rest assured, I won't be spending another cent unless I see the ads reappear.
Stupid. I made one purchase for a different game and now I get nothing?? Considering getting rid of Candy Crush now...

Welcome, newcomer; but it seems like you're not part of an experimental test group (of lab rats) with the feature, see here.
Some will get adverts & others won't, different people get different features; so you just have to deal with the experiment for as long as it lasts, but (try to) have fun.
And do not delete the game in an attempt to receive the feature, as any accumulated boosters/received game lives would also be deleted (if playing via mobile devices); see this.
You're basically at the mercy of those tasked with maintaining the game on whether or not you ever get the feature.
But once you make a purchase within the game, don't count on it; here's an example from another unfortunate player.

Why I'm not getting watch ads helps extra move and lives
@mahadevaml You aren't getting adverts in your game because King don't provide every feature of the game to every player. So, whilst you might have seen a feature in a friends game or read about one on here there is no guarantee you will ever see the same feature in your game. Sadly this is just the way that King does things and there is nothing you can do to force a particular feature to appear in your game.

AD video is in the Test Group so we cannot say for sure that you will always find this feature.
However, in some cases the future may be missing for temporary problems.
Keep playing the game, you can get the future back again.

In the last two days the ads have stopped working. If you get a chance to view ads for extra moves the first ad works but when you select to watch the second ad it goes to run it but then the screen goes black and it then returns you to the game. This makes it very difficult and frustrating.
II have been playing this level since 3 days now and I have not been able to pass so I need assistance
I've been having trouble with trying to get to the next Ad, because every time I think the Ad is finished and I try to go to the next Ad, it takes me completely out of the game. So, then I lose my chance at the level, and the boosters that might have been able to help me. Any suggestions?
I lost almost 400 gold bars not knowing the reason. How may I know what was the reason or was there any system fault or something?
