Rank and level are two different things. As the example you mentioned,
Anika is in the rank 117 and her level is 4117. Do you understand.
The rank bar(yellow bar with the rank number on the profile picture) will be updated everytime when we play a level. My rank bar ranks up very faster because I replay some level for many times.

@swortz2227 It's really strange. I can't see a Friends tap on my game's profile, and if I log out from this account, I can see the Friends tap again... Maybe I have to restart from level one...? 😂

@Kittae that is weird. I had issues for awhile also. Then it worked itself out. I didn't have to restart.
