Level 2
After the wheel to get extra moves was replaced by watching ads, I have found the number of moves has gone from six (three ads) to five (three ads) and now down to three (two ads). This has made it much harder to pass levels, and the game much less enjoyable. Why has this happened? Is it some sort of penalty for success?
Hi@dennisinoz I put a post a week or so back re adverts giving moves. I have never received 6 from 3, the most I have had is 5 from 3. Then if I'm close to passing a level I get offered 1 advert for 2 moves, which isn't enough. Also more often than not 1 of the adverts crashes and I lose the lot.
Hi @dennisinoz you are lucky in some respects. I have only ever seen six moves for watching three adverts. I have never seen five, or three moves.
At the start of this year my adverts stopped appearing and now that they are back all I get is the two moves for one advert option. As Carol said two moves isn't worth the effort of watching an advert, so I no longer bother. Also as Carol says my adverts used to crash my game, so for six moves I would take the chance of watching the adverts in order to gain moves, but two moves isn't worth the risk of my game crashing.
The 'why' of why we only get a reduced number of moves from watching adverts is difficult to answer as only King really know why. I suppose popular opinion would be that the aim is to get you to buy more moves.
It is a psychological trick they are using. First they provide you with plenty of moves (6 or 5) making your game easy (ish) and then they take away some of your rewards. The aim is to train you into believing that you need the six moves to complete your levels, so you are more likely to buy moves when they take them away from you.
