Fish not attacking colored bombs

I am at Level 6674. Very frustrated that the fish are eating plain colored candy but noticed it is rare they attach the color bombs. First, it takes forever to clear the licorice cages on them and even when open, the fish fly right by? Why the change Candy Crush? You give freebies then make it harder for players to win levels. So disappointed.

I agree@Cheryl_Ann_ I've also noticed this with the coconut wheel in other levels, when swiped with a colour bomb. It always stops just before where it is needed.

It’s all part of Activi$ion’s master plan, you’re supposed to get that frustrated you buy boosters……..in the name of all that is holy, resist the urge !
