Why are players’ pictures/avatars sometimes not visible? (Candy Crush)

Some players’ pictures/avatars are visible while others show no picture but a turning circle (but they are visible at other times). Seems to happen with the sam players. Some are always visible, some not.

Does this indicate something? It doesn’t seem to indicate whether they are playing. I wonder if it is useful to know when to ask for lives/challenges ...

Slow internet, Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.

Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in to Facebook or KIng account.

Most of the time this is due to connection problems, when the players have a perfect synchronization with the server you will see their avatar. If you also have players connected to Facebook in your game you may see them with two different avatars, an animated version or their profile picture.

I find this often happens with people who are probably using a real picture and not one of the cartoon ones. It may be a privacy thing?

This happens when you are having a bad network connection. Turning circle depicts that your connection is not stable. So checking your internet connection may help you.
