The first episode very quickly goes absolutely off the wall bad.
11786 is atrocious. 11788 is also woeful, far too many layers of blocking to clear on the left and a sneaky column of double jellies under the stripe things on the right. 11789 is absolutely appalling- a tiny starting space, surrounded by toffees and then an unbelievable amount of frosting at the bottom. It's a RR level, but the RR are incidental. Clearing the frosting at the bottom is the impossible challenge here.
Really poor stuff so far this week overall.
Couldn't finish quick enough. We are back to rubbish intermingled with a couple of reasonable levels. Far too many poorly designed levels, blockers everywhere and levels where you are relying on cascades to clear a path.
11786 and 11805 I found the worst of the first 2 Episodes.
Then you come to the third Episode. This is just a mish mash of blockers, spawners and poor designs. Level 11811 is ridiculous. 11814 needs serious adjustments. It is impossible to fill the licorice order without extra moves and UFOs. 11818 can only be described as terrible.
Samantha made a brief appearance, but from then on a parade of boring Rainbow Rapids levels and of course Sour Skulls. It seems when designers lack vision, they turn to these types of levels intermingled with levels restricted by overuse of blockers.
No tactics or skill required this week, just an arsenal of boosters and some gold to buy extra moves.
I've only got the first episode done, from the summaries above it doesn't look like the experience picks up much!
After the woeful 11789 the first episode picks up a bit, spoiled only by another plodder of a sour skulls mess at 11792.
11790 and 11791 are great fun. 11790 will be spoiled if the moves are reduced or the fencing is changed. 11793 is another fun level, 11794 has just the right amount of moves so also does not need any changes made. 11795 is a complete bore fest.
Overall, not a great episode with some truly terrible levels in there; if the designers apply their usual round of ill thought out and over-zealous changes, this episode could end up being one of the worst in the game.
I breezed through the second episode with the hour ofF5 boosters and the win streak boosters. The only exceptions were the terrible 11796, which is a level you just wait for the game to finish for you, and 11807, which has a stupid unlocking pattern for the RR on the right.
The first three levels in the third episode are terrible. 11811 is just about passable now but will be impossible by Monday no doubt. 11812 you have to try and get both cakes to clear at once to give you the best chance of clearing the mess at the bottom. 11813 is appalling, a stupid shaped board with loads of hard to hit blockers. I suspect going back and playing these without boosters, they will all be impossible already.
