Having issues with PayPal on candy crush saga

Hi there

yesterday I noticed that I was unable to make a purchase to continue a game on candy crush saga. I selected the account

I needed to use but for some reason it doesn’t go through. I uninstalled PayPal and the game app, reinstalled. Logged out of candy crush, switched off my phone, logged back into the game tried purchasing again and the payment just won’t go through. Am not sure if using google pay app is what caused it for the game but it worked with a food purchase yesterday. I called PayPal and they say it’s fine. I even removed my PayPal card from google pay and nothing worked. So am puzzled as to what I causing the payments not to go through.
