Hi Marie, I just read recently on the Candy Crush Saga all help blog that a lot of the newer levels are requiring many many more tries before extra moves are accumulated. I guess just keep trying and also reach out to support and see what they have to say. Good luck😊

It seems to be a recent change to the game Marie. I was playing a level last night and had accumlated 26 extra moves. The next time I played the level it reverted back to 5 moves. It remained at 5 extra moves until I completed it. All levels after that have offered no more than 5 extra lives.
A few people commented on this change last week as well.

I'm having the same problem. Usually I get extra moves beyond the standard 5 after failing no more than 5 times; I'm currently on level 3076 and have failed at least 15 times, but no extra moves are being offered beyond 5. I'm also not seeing other players in the winner line at the bottom of the screen.
I always buy gold bars when the game eventually offers 35 moves for 10 gold bars. I'll never be able to finish some of these super hard levels with just 5 extra moves, so I don't know what King is trying to accomplish here.
