@John_58011 We all have been playing this long enough to know that you need boosters nowadays in order to pass most of the levels, not just some boosters, a lot of boosters. Therefore, unless you can hack the system (I still don't understand the booster inventory levels that I see on some of the youtube videos), or you are willing to pay, your only other alternative is to switch between platforms. You play on one platform, while accumulating boosters on another. I really don't see the win10 advantage anymore, it may require less boosters, but it's still a lot if you are like me with no booster inventory at all.

@QueenB Could you please help with level 12482? Whoever is tweeking this game is simply crazy (that's the kindest word that I can find). In addition to adding two more bars, by making the bars down there much more solid than previously, this increases the difficulty tremendously. And also take a look at the blocks underneath the icing, that's a lot more solid. This is the game even with 35 extra moves, I am not sure I can pass it. Please stop making the games impossible!!!

The after game videos for extra moves are nice … you can get at times 7 extra moves. But this is also a sign that the levels are no longer designed to finish with the regular given moves. It is also a lot less fun to hope for those extra moves, than to be able to finish them with the standard moves. It is also unpredictable.
Unfortunately, many levels are extremely - if not impossible - to finish with the given moves - regardless of how many starting boosters you use. Because of the many blockers and very limited starting area, starting boosters are useful but also limited. Often i use all starting boosters and still don't get even half way the level’s goal.
candy crush used to be fun. Now, it is more of a chore.
candy crush also used to be more a puzzle game; now it seems more like a slot machine. All luck, little skill. You used to be able to improve your results thinking a few moves ahead. But now, trying to move candies to create wrappers or color bombs is a fool’s errand. Uncontrolled cascades will likely disrupt your moves and end up costing you precious moves. Strategy: just let it cascade and hope for the best. Like a slot machine.
