How am I reflecting in 2 groups?

I have been stocked with this group for sometime now.

My wife got my attention today that I am in her group.

My progress in the above group, reflects in my wife's group.

From what I can gather from posts similar to yours @TariT is that the Weekly Contest doesn't work the way we think it works.

I have come to the conclusion that the only person that gets any rewards from any particular Weekly Contest is the player that owns the Weekly Contest.

What I mean by that is that in your first screenshot it shows that Janice is in first place and Christine is in third place. What we have learnt is that for Janice and Christine the situation might be different and Janice might not even be first in her own Weekly Contest.

Simply put each player other than yourself in a Weekly Contest is just a place holder and someone for you to be compared against.
