Can't turn off full screen mode

candy crush app is appearing in full screen mode and i can't see my bottom navigation bar anymore. i have the settings set to default which should show the navigation bar, but now it's not. How can this be fixed? I'm playing on Galaxy S10.

Looks like yet another inept update to the app @jfurlong83

Hopefully King will acknowledge and resolve this issue quickly.

I take what I said back @jfurlong83 it isn't an inept update it is yet another unwanted and unnecessary change by King that once again disadvantages their customers

I have got the full screen version in my device now and the way to get your navigation buttons back is to swipe down from the top of the screen.

I am guessing this full screen update is the reason that the notch of Apple phones now obscure part of the game board. So in some ways the change is still inept as they clearly don't know what they are doing.

Just noticed this issue on my phone today. Its annoying, especially on hard level where you need to press back few times to retry the level :(

It's not fair that a game can take over your phone. I don't want my games in full screen. It should be optional. Ridiculous King 😐

Never bothered opening this thread, as I thought "full screen mode" meant landscape view. Anyway, seems they've enforced this onto everyone. Even my floating dock is no long visible while playing. That's absurd!

Strangely, Messenger's... whatever it's called stays on top of the game, so I'm assuming this unannounced change was unintended and will hopefully get fixed/undone with the next regular game update.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
