I guess I'll just have to live with the 2000 badge. I tried repeating level 3000 5 times now and nothing changed. I logged in and out multiple times. I don't understand why the badge doesn't update. It didn't update at 2500 either like it said it would when I got an email from King.

Hello! I passed level 3000 and didn’t get my badge updated yet. I received an email saying congrats for reaching this milestone. My app is up to date and when I hit 2000 it told me in the app and updated my progress.
how does this get fixed?

Mine didn’t update either and I did everything you did as well. Must be a glitch they need to fix with the app.

Yes, this is very frustrating. There is no good way to contact King Support. When I fill out the contact form, I always get answered by a Bot that has nothing to do with getting the 3000 level badge. I've tried everything others have suggested, and it doesn't update the badge. Maybe King will figure this out and correct it. I won't hold my breath though.
