It is not yet widespread and only a few people get this feature. But I guess it will appear in everyone's games in the future, so you can take a look at its effects first.

Here is another share from MannyFae:

I've found what seems like a bug. They don't spawn fish from bobbers. The striped and wrapped combo spawns fish, but individual wrapped candies do not. It's possible that this was done intentionally to make them a bit more balanced.
