Hi, I just wanted to ask if there is a possibility that king will ever bring back the old map in candy crush saga in which all of the episodes are different, the levels are colour coded based on the game mode and there is no endless repetition of the episodes in the map in the game. I’m kind of getting annoyed at the endless repetition of the episodes and so are other players here in the community. Could someone please answer my question if they know what the plan for the game in the future is or not ?

It's extremely unlikely they'd do that, especially for the mobile version. There was an announcement of sorts in another thread that they've replaced the older map in order to free up room and resources for more levels and features. Unique episode backgrounds may have been acceptable years ago but with close to 13000 levels (that's 850+ episodes), it's no longer sustainable. Mobile devices are limited in terms of RAM and processing power. Shockingly, game's taking up 759 MB of my phone's storage as it is. 😮
I only hate the fact they screwed up the aftermath when you finish a level by adding all other candy colours. Not only that but they recently removed points from matching candies. Instead of fixing the issue, they hid the points. lol

I miss the unique episodes too! Unfortunately they are almost certainly removed permanently. Such a shame!
