The first way to softlock candy crush is the frog glitch. To do this glitch, spam the 2 spots on the board that the frog moves to, and the original location of the frog. So basically if the frog is moving from spot A to spot B, spam both spots. The game will softlock if the frog moves back to Spot A after going to Spot B without filling the frog again.
The second way to softlock candy crush has actually only ever happened to me once after playing over 12k levels. This glitch is very weird and likely frame perfect. To do this glitch, you need to have a 3 candy match of any color and one of them needs to be a striped candy. There must be another striped candy next to the striped candy in the match of 3. Matching the striped candies on the same frame as the normal match is made for some reason softlocks the game. Once again, this is likely frame perfect so don't expect this to be easy.
