Been stuck for weeks plus no ads to watch to get extra moves. Getting bored now as they only seem interesting in buying power ups or lives. Seriously considering deleting.

Seems you never needed or wanted to pay to continue after a bomb made you fail. It increases the timer of already present, as well as new bombs, yes. Question is whether one has gold bars to use. I'm going to assume OP doesn't. Hence why I offered to help him. The ball is in his field now. π§
I just found last week if you spend 10 bars for 5 moves it will also add 5 to the bombs.
Wish I knew this several years ago.

Ads don't kick in if you fail because of bombs. Only when you run out of moves.
Level seems hard indeed. You gotta rely on lucky special candies to stay ahead of bomb timers and clear the chocolate in the meantime.
